The Textile Industry Children's Trust
The Textile Industry Children's Trust is the industry’s own “Help-the-Children Fund”. For over 150 years the Trust has fulfilled its remit of supporting the education and relieving poverty of children who have a parent who has worked in the industry. The Trust provides substantial funds to support children's education, for example when a child has learning difficulties or where a boarding school is needed when the home environment is detrimental to normal development. It also provides funds for talented children to train for a career in the performing arts.
