BRC Associate Membership starts on the day we receive your completed Application Form, membership is company-wide and your organisation can have as many people as you'd like added to our database to receive BRC member-only information.

BRC-KPMG Retail Sales Monitor (UK) The BRC-KPMG Retail Sales Monitor (RSM) is an accurate monthly measure of retail sales performance that acts as both a benchmark for participating retailers and as a key economic indicator. Associate Members can access reports from the last twelve months via our Members’ Area.
     
SRC-KPMG Retail Sales Monitor (Scotland) The SRC-KPMG Retail Sales Monitor (Scottish RSM) provides an accurate monthly measure of retail sales performance in Scotland. Like the UK Retail Sales Monitor, it acts as both a benchmark for participating retailers and as a key economic indicator for the health of retail in Scotland. Associate Members can access reports from the last twelve months via our Members’ Area.
     
BRC-Nielsen Shop Price Index The BRC-Nielsen Shop Price Index (SPI) is a monthly measure of UK shop price inflation. The SPI measures changes in the price of 500 of the most commonly bought items, and demonstrates the extent to which retailers contribute to inflation through the pricing of commonly bought goods. Associate Members can access reports from the last twelve months via our Members’ Area.
     
BRC-Bond Dickinson Retail Employment Monitor The BRC-Bond Dickinson Retail Employment Monitor (REM) measures changes and trends in retail sector employment. Data is analysed in monthly intervals and is reported on a quarterly basis. Associate Members can access reports from the last twelve months via our Members’ Area.
     
BRC-Google Online Retail Monitor The BRC-Google Online Retail Monitor (ORM) measures changes and trends in the growth of retail search terms over time. Google compiles data by weighting terms according to their historical likelihood of being related to retail searches. Produced quarterly. Associate Members can access reports from the last twelve months via our Members’ Area.
     
BRC-Springboard Footfall and Vacancies Monitor The BRC/Springboard Retail Footfall and Vacancies Monitor (FVM) gathers data on customer activity in town and city centre locations, and in out of town shopping locations, throughout the UK using the latest generation automated technology. Produced quarterly. Associate Members can access reports from the last twelve months via our Members’ Area.
     
BRC Economic Briefing Report Our monthly report bringing together all of the key economic reports impacting the UK retail sector.
BRC Quarterly Trend Analysis Our quarterly overview of the UK retail economy over the previous three months.
