Policies & Issues: Retail Crime

COUNTER-TERRORISM
The Counter-Terrorism Working Group was established in response to the Government's review and consultation on crowded places. The two main points for consideration were; proportionality and planning.

Aim: To ensue that there is a proportionate approach to business based on a fuller understanding of retailers' needs.

Output: To continue to work with the Office for Security & Counter Terrorism (OSCT) and the National Counter-Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) to ensure local Counter-Terrorism Security Advisers (CTSAs) understand how national retail businesses operate and the best ways to engage with retailers at the local level.
