A guide to the sale of knives for Scottish retailers

The Scottish Retail Consortium has developed the following guidance to help Scottish retailers understand their responsibilities under new laws regulating the sale of knives.

It has been developed by the SRC in collaboration with retailers, enforcers, procurators fiscal and licensing authorities, together with the Scottish Government.

It is designed to enable a common approach to the interpretation and application of Scottish legislation on the retail sale of knives.
