Since its launch in 2003 as BRC Solutions, the British Retail Consortium's magazine has established itself as essential reading within the retail industry. Relaunched in July 2007 as The Retailer, the magazine features an entertaining mix of interviews, news and features with contributions from industry experts, retailers and government figures. Through our magazine we aim to highlight the work of the BRC in influencing the development of legislation and encouraging best practice across the industry. We also aim to provide you with the sort of information that will help you in running your business, from advice on how to minimise shrinkage to discussions of the latest retail trends.
The Retailer is published six times a year and is distributed to all members of the BRC, including retailers, trade associations and retail suppliers, plus selected government and academic contacts. The readership includes key decision-makers at some of the most high-profile businesses in the UK. Our core audience is made up of chief executives, chairmen, managing directors and senior managers at some of the top retailers in the UK, including New Look, B&Q, Tesco and Alliance Boots among many others.
